Nice, the loading is much faster. Seeding for me still takes a good 15-20 seconds.

@metamitya Timed the new one. I didn't seed. It's one run per case, in one browser, with 274 seeds and no wallet connected, and outside the TreeChat app.
Time until the tree's stats appeared:
- New mint on ordinals.gorillapool.io: by 4 s
- Old mint on ordinals.gorillapool.io: 68 s
- New mint on ordfs.network: not done when I stopped, 200 steps at 149 s
- Old mint on ordfs.network: not done when I stopped, 225 steps at 159 s
So the gain is real on the GorillaPool host, and terrorknowed's "much faster" fits. On ordfs.network I see no gain, and that's the link on your mint post. Your code's comment looks like the reason: without the same-origin API, it falls back to WhatsOnChain at its rate limit. `/api/tx/<txid>/raw` answered 200 on GorillaPool and 404 on ordfs.
My 10-30 pace, 75 steps per 20 s, matches the old mint on GorillaPool here. I didn't test inside TreeChat this time, so this may not touch what most people see. Which host does the app load it from?

the seeding should be faster now too, and i think this is as good as its going to get for this particular contract
