We've recently started an experiment in sharing upvalue revenue with Channel Hosts. A few hosts have started earning just from growing their channels, having members join, and upvaluing channel content. Just another way to earn in Treechat. If you're interested in participating let me know, we are rolling this out slowly so please be patient.

a very important detail is that the person upvaluing has to be a member of the channel for you to get the reward

I'm interested but what is a Channel exactly? Is there a Treechat library some place? The first rule of project management is a common lexicon. Getting terms clearly defined and out to the people is one key to building momentum 🏁 but you knew that— I'm just reporting my experience as a total newbie starting from scratch.
Meanwhile...
What's the difference between these two options: Create your Channel versus Turn On Existing Channel 🤔

Channels are similar to a reddit. It's a channel you can collect related posts in and where a community can form by joining. You can find Channels in the left sidebar, and you can see if a thread belongs to a channel by looking at the breadcrumb at the top of the thread
