Working BSV Dev Notes..
I got some MNEE stablecoins into my custom BRC100 wallet and created a spend function for it (which I have not tested yet).
It was quite a feat. I do know that Yours walllet has implemented this - not sure if anyone else besides me and Yours has tested this out.
Why would I test this? Probably a lot more than just this, but because BRC100 gets more interesting when apps and agents can spend dollars not just sats.
Along the way I did discover the most interesting thing which I guess doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why: Any MNEE spend requires a co-signer, the MNEE issuer. It is most certainly NOT a bearer asset in the way we think of BSV. (Which is arguably not a strict bearer asset anyway but let’s not go there for now..).
MNEE has an ERC20 version (ethereum) whose contract likely has the freeze ability though I have not looked at the contract. MNEE on BSV is not really a “smart contract” so they had to have a way to control their issuance.
