Yep similar "message" is being delivered in the book as well.
Adolf, IG-Farben & Co have been financed by Wallstreet but seems like IG-Farben and the Nazi-party became much more powerful than anticipated.
The rest is pure speculation, but I'd say that they were able to escape and that the official narrative which I learned at school was utter bs.
