A few years ago on a Saturday at 11 AM or 10 AM in broad daylight two goons tried to rob my car out in front of my apartment I had a face-to-face configuration with one of them and the other one was too far away to make up foot distance. There are at least three roommates of mine outside and all I could think of at the time was if I started going to work on the guy in front of me that if his partner had a firearm we were all fucking dead. That type of thing will change a person's disposition rather quickly when you care about the safety of those around you
