By wrecking the undersea pipeline the US (if it did so, all signs say yes), the US just:
1) escalated the degree of direct interaction between itself and Russia in conflict.
2) damaged German and EU nation's ability to continue filling their storage tanks for winter and emergencies.
3) pressured the price of gas yet higher for Europeans already crushed by insane gas prices.
4) acted like a mafia state
5) created yet further scenarios wherein it takes market share of European gas for itself and it's PetroDollar states.
