I wouldn't allow my wife to touch receipts while she was pregnant for this reason. Interestingly, there was a common ingredient in antibiotic soaps and hand sanitizers called triclosan which can increase the absorption of BPA through skill cells significantly. It was banned by the FDA a few years ago. It was widely used in hospital settings and people would give me weird looks when I warned them about it before it was banned.
