Yes. I think the main reason feminine family/tribe politics fail so miserably at scale (society, civilization) is that the mechanism of shaming doesn't work sufficiently well. When all tribe members share what they have gathered/harvested and one guy repeatedly fails to do his part, he will be heavily shamed and eventually excluded from the distribution process. On the level of society this doesn't work and is immediately abused by parasites who soon form entire classes of net-recipient non-producers - above and below.
