Woohoo thanks for interacting with my posts guys! Now I have $ to brag about my kids' project 😆 Oyster mushrooms are so easy to cultivate. This is the start of the 2nd fruiting of their block. These will be ready to eat in about 2 - 3 days. #growyourown ❤

I've had a lot of success growing these out of 5 gallon buckets you guys should try that someday
Mycology is so fun, makes me want a cleanroom / air filter and a ton of petri dishes. Someday.
What substrate?
Popcorn for grain spawn
Aspen woodchips for bulk substrate... the type you get at pet stores works pretty well just need to do a light sterilization with hot water
Definitely! I haven't done much cultivating. I do a lot of foraging fungi and plants. I'm state certified in mushroom toxicology, identification and foraging. But some day I want a grow room, too🍄💖
Thank you! We'll definitely keep that all in mind moving forward! I haven't
done a lot of cultivating. I'm certified in toxicology, identification and foraging of mushrooms. But I do aspire to cultivate more in the future🌞
Im growing Hericeum Erinaceus atm its so tasty 😋
Lions mane is one of our favorite to eat! I like to make "crab" cakes with it. A friend of ours grows it. I also take tincture I made with wild harvested. It's super good for your brain and nervous system 💖
