I was wondering how the honest MINORITY node would react in case of 51% double spend attack. Will they automatically (Built in Software) switch to the longest chain or that just makes economic sense for them to do so? @39

If the minority continue to be honest and the rest of the ecosystem (merchants, other validating nodes) support the minority honest mined chain, is it even possible to 51% attack the network. I am considering here a Bitcoin ecosystem ...
where there are few big mining pools (possiblity of attack) but the ecosystem is such big that large TXs are happening on the network thus large merchant nodes ... How does NAKAMOTO CONSENSUS applies in this case? Or is it even rational to do so?
