there should be many reasons for that. but imo, the most dominant reason is simply because many people or noises that said BSV is a scam!

also, ppl judge from first-look "research", they thought that BSV is simply the grandchild of BTC.

They read an article on the web that said its a scam so they think they are now experts and want to look cool in front of their friends.

They don’t think it’s a scam, they want it to be a scam so it goes away. Maybe if they close their eyes long enough it will?

It’s an MLM scheme

1. They've seen Craig Wright say some crazy sounding stuff and assume it must not be legit or respectable.

2. They've encountered BSV fans online who say stuff that sounds like religion ("Just wait. In one year all will be revealed. HE has a plan." etc,)
