Whats going on with the mining power distribution on the SV blockchain? Can anyone elaborate on this?

Is SV really 80% controlled right now by a single mining pool? Hmm....
More like ~55-60%. A 51% attack from this actor is highly unlikely, and all they're really doing is delaying the settlement time from 10 to 20 minutes temporarily, since without any blocksize limit the other miners can just fill the following block.
What is this miner getting out of this though? Seems like a lot of resources being used for what? Delaying the settlement time does what for them exactly? @4543
Also, if it's a large BTC miner doing it, it would only represent a fraction of their hash rate, so it could be a combination of the above and testing the waters for actually making the transition to mining BSV instead, since BTC inevitably will collapse.
Thanks for your interesting thoughts on the matter

Absolutely nothing, and they're even wasting money by not collecting the transaction fees. It's fully possible they've deluded themselves into thinking that what they're doing attacks the network, since doing similar on BTC would indeed be crippling.
Could it be an attempt to speed up the block discovery so as to have the block rewards half before BCH? Last I check BSV was only 223 blocks behind.
