sorry I missed your post.... the reality was the image I posted of a header and the collection items underneath. This seems like a simple thing to be able to do where a collection can trade in one place, .
It's impossible to get an answer from 1sat alpha David Case who says he's working unpaid in his spare time which sounds like he's about head off elsewhere to me, apparently 1sat alpha is a tool not a product. This is why there's no collection feature as it isn't built for artist and the tokens are just a huge waste of time, listed in no particular order .
Instead tooling is built for Devs to come up with collections like bubblegum mint who give BSV'ers pictures of triangles and O faces and Kurt says get in thank me later, but when it comes for tooling for artists that spend 100's of hours..... stiff bickies........ it's getting to the point nobody in there right mind would waste any time. I mean I've spent over a week trying to get an answer on the " collection feature"it's like I'm asking for the golden sceptre , or a sip from the chalice of everlasting life...... nobody on discord or X will respond it's pretty pathetic. Imagine any other chain producing a token and ordinal minter where you can't inscribe into a collection, and they can't figure out how to reward via ranking tokens by merit.....scam arse and go **** yourself take centre stage why would anybody go back there after one look at that ?
Ah, ok… thanks explanation mate.
I thought you were referring to the environment of your 3d objects.
Personally, I would like to see Babylon.js 3d viewer implemented for greater control of the 3d scene environment. Right now with the Model-viewer it’s a white background and doesn’t seen to be able to zoom.
That's the best viewer and the one I use, here and zoid.io they use Google's viewer. I've asked for possible changes to the viewer, here, 1sat alpha, zoide io, and tried to get yours wallet to implement a viewer.... at least here I got a reply which was it was time-consuming to make changes to the standard viewer - I appreciated the answer..
spent 3 hours last night trying to learn how to manually create transactions so I can try and create collections and items. It wasn't fun and I didn't get far.
what you end up with is coders controlling the way 3d models look and creating mints with o faces and triangles or glowing balls while "artists" try to figure out how to write script.
Agree
I asked @metamitya over on X if they would consider implementing the Babylon.js viewer and file format and he was responsive and asked questions.
Getting that viewer would be game-changing in this space for artists such as yourself. Maybe he and @arghzero will look into it in the near future.
soon tm
that will never happen... andd everything connected to zoid.io will go down and never work out

@Creg if you want to try posting some obj and stl models I can make sure they display correctly as I only have this glb example atm
also, lmk if any of the setting configs are not being shown... babylon is a lot more complicate than model viewer and we have to set a lot of defaults, so if you expected something to happen and it didn't give us a heads up so we can address
Thanks for your effort 👋😀
1) the model doesn't rotate around the centre of mass, and they're definitely not positioned in the viewer correctly
I've checked the watch .glb file especially, and there are no camera positions exported with the .glb plus it's impossible to zoom close.
2) can the same fluidity be achieved as you get on the sandbox site, it's this full screen and fluid motion that gives the model that quality feel.
3) ideally if you could click a static image to view exactly what you see on. the sandbox site in full screen same smooth fluid movement full screen ........ya I get it I've no idea how much work all this takes..
@metamitya will this support the .babylon file format along with .glb when complete?
I’d bet babylon format wouldn’t require setting any defaults as it’s their own file format.
