Well my transmission just finally went out.... No reverse, No drive.... It has been a long time coming... I was hoping that it would hold off until tax season... I just filed yesterday. IDK what I am going to do....
$600 for a rebuilt 1 and $2000 4 new 1.

Yeah thats what I am thinking. Idk anything about cars is it ok to get a rebuilt one? I feel like I could really get screwed? I cannot afford it already. Let alone twice..
what car? rebuilt is fine most times. they must give u atleast some warranty on it in case its still defective

Those are both very solid cars and worth paying to repair.
i can confirm that those cars are pretty solid or they have been. things could change i suppose
put 300K miles on a 1995 civic. it made it to 2018. I did have to change headgasket towards the end. lol it may have lived longer had I hired a professional to change the gasket.
