Can you expand on this @metamitya ? I don’t fully grok what you are saying? Do you mean we are the output of the universal ‘machine’ and the ‘machine’ itself is God?

I took it as we are the machine that make the world function

I was just playing with some questions and ideas... one question is how to reconcile free will if, given advanced physics, we can calculate the state of the universe in the future essentially rendering humans automatons whose actions can be calculated, so how can we reconcile the fact that our actions can be predicted with the idea that we have free will?

this makes me think of stephen wolfram's concept of [[irreducible complexity]] the idea that there are systems so complex that the only way to model them is to run that system... that no model can predict what this system can do and I think this is a good way of thinking about humans also... sure we are a calculation, but we are the "highest" calculation, we are irreducibly complex, no lesser model can predict us and so as we live our lives we "reveal" our story, which is otherwise impossible to know. we must live to reveal our calculation, which is really the universe's calculation, and this is what I meant when I said "we are a revelation", "we are the story"

in this paradigm, God is the entity outside of the calculation, outside of the formal system, that can observe it, the entity that defeats irreducible complexity, that cannot be modeled at all by the Universe Calculation
