If you really want to understand the role of the entrepreneur, deeply consider this question:
Does a coach (as in for sports teams,) produce value?
They don't play in the game. They don't run or swim the races. They don't perform in the action.

But even more... They don't do the workouts. They don't practice the skills. They don't have any control over the processes that lead to the performance, and they have no control over the performance, either.
They have only influence.
The obvious answer is yes, coaches produce value. But where that knowledge meets understanding is where it gets really hard, and that's in the follow-up questions: Why? How?
Entrepreneurs are coaches, and all resources under their leadership are their players. That includes employees, capital goods, and even business relationships.
Their game? The market.
