I want to share an experience I've had recently of the psychological differences between buying and earning BSV. I've been a maximalist for a number of months now, and had invested a significant portion of my savings into BSV.

I know that mathematically, this is still more of my savings residing in a volatile asset, but the emotional stress is completely different between spending cash to buy BSV, and never having had the funds in cash to begin with.
This has not been a healthy thing as I've been overly attached to the price. Recently I sold about half of what I had invested in order to relieve my stress and not be focussed on price. This weekend, I took on a bounty project and earned 8BSV.
There are a number of bounty projects out there and I urge developers who are also interested in stacking sats to take a look at earning those bounties and contributing. It is a very fulfilling way to contribute.
I feel the same about it. When I buy BSV, it feels like a trade. When I earn it, it feels like it’s mine.
