why would you want to make a feature that contributes to viral adoption the third item inside an overflow menu very few people open?
Twetch posted every post to twitter when twitter account was connected by default with the ability to opt out per post.

that seems a bit heavy handed imo, users should be in control of where their posts go regardless of what's good for treechat.
if you guys want it we can add it though, maybe as an optional feature, it's an interesting idea
this functionality is in early beta btw, just finished it yesterday. there's a lot more twitter related functionality coming soon (tbh hadn't expected you guys to find it so quick it was intentionally a little buried in the ui 😂)
There is no ‘guys’ there is people speaking for themselves, unless you want it to be a collectivist app in which case I will leave. I’m very impressed with the rate at which you ship features so kudos for that. I also believe that speaking candidly yields the most actionable feedback. It’s your product and and my voice is as good as any anon. I only have as much skin in the game as the amount of sats that I boost. Having said that I think hiding post to x in an overflow menu and making posting to X a two click action is a bad idea. Moreover this has been done before and twetch to implement it differently. I have done hundreds of hours of user testing interviews. A consistent thing is that people tell you all sorts of things they think they need which they won’t actually use when you build it. In the worst case they will later deny giving the feedback and recommend not using the product. A general rule of thumb is: Users don’t know what they want but know what they don’t want. The strongest signal a user can give they are confident about what they want is giving you their money.
