If the viralization of bad information is something attainable with a budget, we are doomed. @24 came up with a tool to fight this threat called BoostPOW.
BoostPOW adds sobriety to thinking and valuing information.

Also, I was thinking it would be useful to see some graph for the boosts an article received, if it were lots of small boosts or one big boost. I think it might be a good idea to use such metrics for a ranking.
Go to boostpow.com, click "boost content" and paste in the twetch url or txid.
Right now we don't render twetches very well, hopefully will improve soon.
We can show data on boosts by size but I'm not sure how helpful that is. You can disguise a big boost as lots of tiny ones.
Eventually I want to show Twetch identities of boosters if we have that information.
Yes, hard problems since identities can suppress the support for controversial ideas too. When identity plus privacy is possible things might get easier to solve.
