Have you thought of making an alt and following stuff that has nothing to do with Bitcoin? Pick any topic/niche and you can find dozens of world-class experts. It's great

Facebook has groups that is popular, so the exposure is less for the topics as many are restricting who can view them (& group owners).

Twitter is one open station where everyone can join any topic.

No one is better, they both create individual agendas.

Left behind my FB account about 5-6 yrs ago. dont miss it. i even deleted my account. then i started getting emails "come back to FB" after years i tried to look at FB to find an old friend and what do you know FB never deleted my account.

Reason i left was they gather way too much info as you click around and then pitch you products they should not even know you are interested in. they wanted my Phone # to get my account back so I'm all good with that

Facebook algo is infantile compared to Twitter, fake news is rampant

Facebook and Twitter are bad in their own ways. You probably won't get trolled as much on Facebook, but it's also harder to build an audience. I enjoy not spending much time on either platform.

Facebook is 100x worse.
If you have the messenger app on your phone, they are listening to every single thing you do, and transcribing it
ALL of your most intimate moments, someone is listening.
I dont believe Twitter violates peoples privacy in this way

FB still allows you to stay in your bubble if you choose so.
that's not a bad thing imo.
Adds and so called influencers dragging it down hard.

Most are stuck there because of rl friends.

Lots of close friends still use it, even for event planning and group chat which I find is the only good thing left. I'm just waiting for everyone to move on, but they might be stuck for good xD

I dont think their "use-case" can be really compared as they serve different purposes. What we can argue about, is how they exploit their users.

twitter on the other hand, is public, at least for the most part, and its intended use is public. For all to see, yes, they do not do it amazingly, and yes, they still use our data for ads, but, not to the extent that FB does.

Facebook and twitter you guys have totally different use cases,
Facebook is really for more family/true friend connections.
Except, they exploit that to the absolute max, and use all of your most personal data to their advantage.

FB is worse. Most of your feed is ads, most of your "friends" are sharing ads/click bait unknowingly. The apps essentially own your phone. Twitter dare I say it is more organic content, at least ignoring the spoon fed crap is far easier. Glad I deleted it

I quit using facebook and switched to twitter almost 3 years ago.

FB is worse because no character limit, so even though you can thread on Twitter, FB people go on epically long, cry-baby rants that make you weep for humanity. Nearly all social media is a waste if you don’t diligently limit and fine tune what you see.

Should probably Quit em all and Twetch a heck of a lot more
