I’ve spent the last two years trying to convince people to at least explore other social media apps other than Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Issues I’ve come across are:
❌ social media apps that aren’t different than the one’s they’re using.
❌the ability to reach audience is limited
❌the apps are buggy
❌claims to earn money are not as they appear and/or the ability to earn is limited ie no reach
❌no way to go viral
❌lack of integrations
❌Something is missing for someone ie no long form text for writers, no photo feeds for photographers, no lives for video people, no music for music lovers, no streaming for gamers etc…
These are just some reasons why I have a hard time bringing people over to new apps. I know Twetch has resolved some of these problems so I’m not saying this is in regards to this app. Just explaining the issues that happen with app migrations.
What can I say to convince others to try Twetch? Other than earn money. How did you convince people to join?

It is unclear whether Twetch wants to be the next big thing. There is currently no way for content creators to make $ but a 5 second window at the top of the feed. This financially incentivizes spamming, in turn encouraging others to use the mute function.
