I've been living near the ocean the past month and in the last two days I've heard about three deaths (no one I knew) on the California coast that the ocean took - one was a child and the other two were college students. They were all caused from a strong wave pulling them out and the rescue was too late. 🥺 I'm not posting this to "share a sad story", though it is incredibly sad, but more to contemplate the intense power of nature. It can invoke a beautiful or terrible awe.

Hi Bridget. I used to live in California and this almost happened to me once. Very scary! I'm still by the ocean, now on the East coast in Florida and I can say this will not be happening to me again! Don't underestimate Mother Nature. 🌴🌺🌿🌼☘️
