I’ve heard theories of the hormones essentially driving us (would explain the emotional component) and that we are powered through the nervous system. Like “jacked in” through it. Would this mean we aren’t real? To me, not all. We (I, you) express through whatever this thing is. And in fact we are so much more than the limited ‘place’ we find ourselves in, simulation or no simulation. I’m only conveying things I’ve read and heard. No one knows even if they say they do, in my opinion. Whatever it is, it’s a glorious, fabulous, terrible, wild mystery. Sometimes I think interpretation best left to the poets and mystics and artists.
