I've always wondered: why the insistence on female warrior characters in contemporary propaganda, despite their undeniable and painful ridiculousness?
I think the answer is that a warrior is essentially the opposite of a mother.
The more a woman loses her childlike innocence, the less qualified she is as a real mother.
The view of the official ideology is "Women can be ANYTHING - except mothers."
