Grew up to my father watching this on repeat - it was always a psychedelic dream sequence to me then, I never got it as a kid. Now I hum the theme song in my head. Terry Gilliam is always very tough around the edges but also always worthwhile

On that note I got around to watching “I’m thinking about ending things” similar nightmarish vibe - except I think it is probably the most realistic nightmare I’ve ever seen on film. The dream logic on point - but as usual self indulgent Kaufman
