I did not expect pressing return to post, I expected an inline confirmation. Pressing return twice should post.

It's difficult to find out how to shift back to the parent thread once in a child thread.

Some kind of one or two step coachmarks or onboarding cards would be nice on first run, explaining how to post and how to find threads, with the ability to show onboarding cards again in settings.

I expect left and right threads to be a bit less opaque to match the fact they are also vertically indented and help bring focus to the center thread. Alternative no indenting and full opaqueness on all open threads similar to tweetdeck.

a command prompt toggled with hotkeys or via a button at the top of the screen would be nice
