Solving the on-boarding problem will decide the winners in this space
RON (Relay On Chain Network) allows on-boarding from any other cryptocurrencies and even from cash app, venmo, wechat etc.
Streamanity once had login with handcash and some fancy mechanism to "allow" access to a certain amount of funds.
Haven't had much luck with 2.0 as of yet, though.
