It’s an unfortunate catch-22 for a lot of competing reasons.
Imagine 2 types of people:
- Those who get flustered parallel parking + point fingers at the inconvenience, the spot, whatever.
- Those who practice, stay calm, and learn how to do it right.
There will be a lot of people who try to follow guidelines for 30sec, get frustrated, give up, and start pointing fingers.
We can’t effectively know who has it, so it feels like a useless effort to keep going through the motions w/ no data for feedback.
I’ve gone through some of these stages over the last months.
Getting comfortable with the ebb + flow of this internal battle, BEFORE being forced to be in a high-pressure environment of social activity.. I feel is probably important.
