The most unlikely event in Bitcoin was the creation of it.

The second most unlikely event was that Bitcoin not only survived, but became a household name, even if it was misunderstood.

I think the likelihood of us seeing just 5000 more users and 20 new builders is far higher than either of those two events. And when that happens, why and when would it stop?

Is reaching 1 billion users a higher likelihood event than the first two events?

well functioning apps is a start. tonne of ideas on hodlocker as to what's worth implementing. 20 devs would be helpful to work on them, so i'm glad that's easier than i think.

as the overton window for scaling bitcoin on L1 changes i'd imagine users are more willing to try these apps. but they need to work reliably first and have better incentive games built on top otherwise it's a missed opportunity.
