twetch media wasn't posted on chain (as far as i'm aware at least) so we can't do much about that. as for the missing posts, there are definitely some posts that errored out during our huge import. we'll most likely do another iteration to go through all the old twetch transactions again and find+reinsert the ones that are missing in treechat in the future

It was all on-chain, but I believe it was done with consolidated txns to cut costs and allow cheaper media uploads.
They would collect posts as local txns and then broadcast at a later time as one big txn.

The reason Harry told me just last night that it’s taking so long to get our Twonks available is because they are having to re-issue/re-drop them all to their rightful owners as Ordinals. Something about Ordinals and old Twetch indexing is incompatible… the way they did the indexing on Twetch caused them to always have a lot of tedious maintenance.
