Twetch may gain by building its own custom Algorithm.
I spoke to someone who opened a Twetch account at around U/ 40,000 and asked him why he never came back.
In front of me, after about 1 year of not using Twetch he logged it and took a look to refresh himself
He words were 'its boring' there is 'nothing to do'. 'damn pink eggs are worth aot'. Also he was shocked at the price of Locks now.
I asked him to explain further with details
He said on Twitter the app constantly suggests interesting information that he might have missed since being away from the app. When he scrolled there was the 'see new posts' button
He said it would be cool to have an area of posts that were bought to his attention since last log in. Based on his previous likes history
So effectively he was saying he found a benefit of a Algorithm. As it saved him time and energy hunting for value in the app. Where it could all be bought to him automatically....
I never considered this perspective before. Propaganda algorithms are no good. But I now see, there can be beneficial ones.
