So how does the Twetch and HODLocker selection change what is happening on Treechat? Is Twetch still operating? Are the posts tied to Twetch and posting on both Twetch and Treechat?

a lot of treechat is choosing which stream of information you are looking at... public is an aggregate stream of all public threads, but selecting the twetch stream shows you all public twetch threads (a sub-stream) ... same with hodlocker
because twetch content was onchain we were able to index and show it in treechat, so you can interact with it in the same way you would with any public treechat thread: reply, quote, star, etc
tldr twetch is not operating, but treechat is showing onchain twetch content for you
