I try to stay away from people who be killing my vibe, but what if it's my own mom? I'm starting to grow allergic towards her. Seriously wondering what to do. I've been investing in the relationship but it doesn't seem to have the desired effect.

This tends to happen in teenage years, not adulthood. Get your shit together and love your mom!
You have to accept her for who she is, whether you like it or not. Unconditional love. That doesn't mean you have to live in her pocket, but love her unconditionally and visit her at a frequency that you can bear and that keeps her nourished.
