As truth becomes more available and more trusted through bitcoin, politics will cease to be so effective.
This is a big part of why I ever cared about bitcoin at all.
Remember: polarization is harder to create when we can all access the truth!

Not my original thought, stolen from Scott Adams , but it is evident that even when people are shown the facts they still only follow their ideology?

It depends on the person. Nothing will change over night, but we could see serious change in our children's and grandchildren's generations.
Yes I agree it is a long game - and worth the effort to try and win. But the last few years has been revealing to see how little information matters to people in some situations.
