Collectivists are more "yours is ours" people, individualists are more "what's mine is mine" people.
The former because they want stuff, the latter because they want to keep their stuff. Both choose an ideology that serves them.
But there is one difference:
Property is a right. Theft isn't.
The greatest part of collectivist narratives are aimed at pretending that theft is in fact a right.
