Since I have studied marketing and have always wanted (and tried and failed many times) to run my own successful business unfortunately social media is pretty much the only effective way to advertise and gain reach and create traffic to website/platforms.

Not having a decent income, or affording what I want in life also does not positively serve me, so I am willing to use the technology to achieve success. I will use the provided spyware - since I do anyway - google, maps etc, Then one day go off grid.

Thanks River. I do actually know this and tend to focus on positive stuff. All my life I have gone around saying I live in abundance, I am grateful and free etc. I am aware of laws of attraction and KNOW that I have/deserve amazing stuff coming my way.

Sometimes I just like to engage in realistic conversation rather than constantly preach the law of manifestation. I agree I need to watch my words as words have power. Daily I say prayers of gratitude. Sometimes shit happens regardless of your positivity.

You bet, some people are dealt some really fucking hard hands in life. But at the other end of any trauma there are definitely lessons to be learnt, and nobody is going to force you to learn them if you don’t want to.

Ok. I get what you are saying. For some reason it just irks me the whole their is a lesson to be learnt, when really bad stuff happens to really good people for no good reason at all. Reminds me of some nagging parent I never had and don't tolerate well. x

I don’t know maybe you have the wrong idea of what I mean by a lesson. The lesson could be the process of learning how to love yourself after such trauma, of learning to stand up for yourself speak your own voice,Of being unafraid to follow your intuition.

There is a beautiful side to trauma... those who experience usually chose one of two potential paths.... suffering and victim hood, or they chose to overcome everything and they become this beautiful beacon of light because of it.

The people who find their strength because of trauma are a very special kind of people. Those who despite everything shine above all else and bring others into the light so that they do not have to suffer.

I do appreciate what you say, and I do understand what you mean. For some reason just reading the words "their is a lesson to be learnt" sounds like a harsh teacher telling you off. I know that is not how you meant it. I am often over reactive to things.😘

When I was 18 and just escaped a man who tried to kill me (my second traumatic experience) a close friend many years older explained to me I was in a state of victimhood (within days of it happening) she and many spiritual books helped me out of it.

The older I get the more the Buddha makes sense when he said life is suffering.

It def changed me. I use to be very quiet and soft spoken, I then became fierce as a lion if pushed. It likely kept me safe rest of my life as I was very wary and always followed my intuition. Smooth sailing till heartbreak, 2 years later still healing.💜

Once in tears, worried I was going to lose the man I loved, I prayed and gazing at the stars I swear I heard a voice. It said. You will lose him, you are a healer, to help when needed, this life is pain & suffering. It kind of helps me accept it in a way.

As the saying goes: The sweet wouldn't be so sweet if the bitter wasn't so bitter.
