yep, you won't see the funds in the Upvalues section, because they go directly to the wallet. and then you can't really check the wallet activity.

all i can say is, the wallet is a delicate issue, treechat should be careful with how it is coded. twetch tried to implement rolling addresses and ended up in a tangle. the way the treechat wallet is now clearly indicates to the user it is for in-app use only. simple is probably good.
