Treechat is a bit laggy, is there a surge of new users?

sometimes it's just where there's a lot of animations or gifs on the stream it has a lot to load. I usually open the stream and leave it for ten seconds or so just to let it catch up with itself

or is it just my laptop.

nothing wrong with clearing your cache to see if that helps

it is a bit old.
