Traveled back from Edinburgh today, the airport was wonderful, we breezed through check-in even though the lines looked daunting to begin with.
This does not happen in either of the "international" airports of Berlin.

Edinburgh airport managed to do this with what seemed to be less staff to boot!
Europe is hanging on to dear life to the U.K, because it won't be able to compete in a fair market in the near future. That's likely the tip of the ice-berg though..
It will also make it harder for Europe (European Union etc) to curtail others wanting independence. They were able to use might against the smaller countries, but this will likely become a lot harder too as there are friends abroad.
Many might point out that Scotland actually voted to remain in the E.U while England did voted to leave. What I think people may miss is that the Scottish are very very proud.
After this ordeal of trying to leave the E.U, I suspect that many will..
.. have done a 180, and see the farce for what it is. If Scotland doesn't take to English rule they surely don't take kindly to European rule.
Scotland would rather be stubborn against the E.U, then stubborn against England.
