Tracking the BTC mempool and mining rates...

So far no significant decline in BTC hash power, it seems, but the mempool is increasing, and fees are rising.

Not a surprise, but it will be interesting to see how it continues forward.

To be clear, it's nothing truly significant yet.

Hashrate looks like it was 136 EH/s on 5th March. It dropped to 92.8 EH/s from what I'm seeing at 4am today GMT. Back up to to 112 EH/s as of 2pm today. Is there a better place for monitoring it Matt?

Not necessarily... Just remember that those figures are based on block find rates compared to the current difficulty. Just an estimate. It will have variance due to the probabilistic nature of mining. Like tossing a coin and guessing the probabilities.

I imagine we will see movement in hash over the next 1-2 months. The whole economic downturn over the last few days & weeks have thrown a spanner in the works. Out of all sha-256 I would say BSV is strongest. Miners who are willing to & can take a hit.

No... BTC is strongest right now. Not enough volume on BSV yet.

But, BSV is the only one with future prospects, so take what you will from that...
