What's the ranking system? How does it work
Simply alphabetic order by token name, ABC... Maybe the directory could have a top list for most viewed pages, the latest additions, and user voted rising stars. 👍

is it possible to keep track of tokens on whatsonchain or etc?
It's possible to find token transactions from WhatsOnChain.com, but creating a comprehensive service like Etherscan.io isn't yet possible.
