Today I learned that “white boy” in Swahili is quite close to “white boy” in Zulu.
The person who said it to his colleagues in Swahili wasn’t impressed I understood him. His colleagues, however, thought it was hilarious I called him out on it.

Moral of the story?
Don't bad mouth a person in a foreign language, or in their own language, if you're not willing to say it directly to them.
You should always be able to say the same sentence in-front of the person you are talking about.
