Today is a hard day. Its raining and the kids can't play with the other kids unless they have a mask and I don't want to have to choose between suffocating them and allowing them to play with the other kids. They have each other but it breaks my heart.

I get it. Our son is an only child still in the home. He's back in summer care now, but before it was difficult. He suffers anxiety from his Dads health concerns and we went through a terribly emotional period right before he was able to socialize again 💔

My kids are going through a tough time too, me separating with their dad, not to mention the COVID nonsense. Would be nice to find some normal people! It seems everyone lost the ability to think for themselves!
Unfortunately, I don't think the correlation between an overmedicated and undereducated population and the ability to think as an individual is a coincidence.

I dont either. Like a light switch. And I'm sorry for your situation too. Kids are resilient but sponges with big hearts. I worry for them all but for different reasons. Its up to us as parents to help guide and secure them. A daunting task these days.
