In times like these... of uncertainty, constant stress and fear, there is one herb that for me stands up above the rest as a fantastic universal helper for all, and I think everyone should do some research about it.

Ashwagandha(Indian Ginseng)

Ashwagandha has been used for thousands of years in India to not only manage stress-related conditions but also help with chronic fatigue, insomnia and adrenal fatigue to name a few.

Twetch ·

Ayurveda (Indian traditional medicine) views ashwagandha as one of the most prized rejuvenating herbs, which is thought to nourish the mind and enhance energy, making them perfect for when we are feeling weak and exhausted.

Twetch ·

Stress normally causes a surge in the adrenal hormones - adrenaline and cortisol; Ashwagandha tackles the problem at the root as it acts directly on the trigger of stress by regulating the imbalanced cortisol level and nourishing the adrenal glands.

This herb is unusual in that it is also a tonic, meaning it will strengthen an exhausted or agitated nervous system whilst calming it at the same time.

Twetch ·

Ashwagandha is also an adaptogen which, as the name suggests, means it helps us adapt to modern day stressors.

Twetch ·

Ashwagandha adapts to the needs of the body, helping to support it and reduce negative changes during times of emotional and physical stress by strengthening the endocrine and nervous systems.

Twetch ·

It is also an anti-inflammatory that can relieve symptoms associated with arthritis pain. Ashwagandha also helps boost the conversion of T4 (the thyroid storage hormone) to T3 (the active thyroid hormone)

Yes to all this!

Mother Earth gave us some real magic and yet most are destroying their livers with pharmaceuticals. Let's change that!

Twetch ·

are there much differences between the different ginsengs and their effects? I have one with me that's called Korean/red chinese/siberian ginseng

Twetch ·

I need this!!! Thank you for the info.

Twetch ·

My pleasure! it is recommended to take 1000mg 1 or 2 times per day.

Twetch ·

Ok Dr River. Are you taking new patients?

Twetch ·

They come from different earth, so properties are slightly different, however, in general I would imagine quite similar.

Twetch ·

I am going to get qualified as an Ayurvedic practitioner so I can legally do this and help you all haha

Twetch ·

I literally dont trust state healthcare anymore... great idea.

Twetch ·

Neither do I...!

Twetch ·

I’m in! My wife is planning on taking apothecary & herbal medicine certification classes so she can share the knowledge. ☺️

Twetch ·

This is the program she’s looking at. Right in our neighborhood https://g.co/kgs/eG2vHM

Twetch ·

Sounds amazing!!!! I turned to herbal medicine about 18 months ago after getting so ridiculously sick and no doctor could ever help me. The process of learning about all these incredible natural products literally changed my life!

Twetch ·

Just ordered 90 x 450mg caps online. What dosage would you reccomend for 100kg male Doc? ❤

Twetch ·

Take 2 capsules daily, It should be enough to benefit! If after a few weeks you're still stressed then increase to 4.
In theory, you can take 9000mg of this daily safely within 3 doses, if severe problems with thyroid.. but dont go crazy. take it slow.

Also if you haven't already removed fluoride; water, toothpaste etc. DO THAT!

Twetch ·

Iodine can protect against fluoride toxicity.

Twetch ·

Iodine is ESSENCIAL however also very important to eliminate fluoride

Twetch ·

Good plan!

Ayurveda is such an eye opener, isn't it?

It's like a key and once you have it,
Even if you don't know all the details
about how the lock works,
you can see things you were completely
blind to before

Obvious things that were invisible before

Twetch ·

I am obsessed with Ayurveda. There are some things that have become "mainstream" that are actually very harmful though in regards to this which is why I truly believe anyone embarking on this journey to heal others needs to have the previous knowledge and

Twetch ·

calling to be able to instinctively know what the correct message is to send on to others.

Twetch ·

It's an entire universe...

I've never done more than look through the door, but that was enough to be able to see how ridiculous the idea of western medicine is that people can all be treated the same way

You can't unsee the body
types once you seen them

Twetch ·

Saw this the other day.
Had never seen something like it before.

Impressive how well it symbolizes

... cannabis

Twetch ·

Unlike cannabis, Ashwagandga heals and doesn't just mute pain.
It attacks stress from its source and doesn't just temporarily mask it.
