@disco_donald throwing you a “@“ to get a conversation going that we can Learn from. We read the same books. Let’s improve. Let’s buidl
Twetch ·
Sure, lets do this. What topic would you like to start with?
Twetch ·
We can start with production. We need to produce incredible power grids. Where do we start? Why? Will cede to other more important topics if they exist
Twetch ·
Ok. Great topic considdering unwriters latest medium article.
First question we have to ask ourselves is what is a "grid"? What components does a grid consist of? And which componants are key for a basic grid to function as one?
Twetch ·
I propose we use the following definition. In essence, a (power) grid is a network, consisting of:
(1) distribution lines, to connect
(2) suppliers with
(3) users, to transport
(4) a certain good (power)
Would you agree with this definition?

If we look at our definition of a grid, we need demand from 3 (users) of 4 (power) because (X).
It only makes sence to invest in building a grid if we have a positive outlook of how to make a profit.
Twetch ·
We also need to think about why did people started building powergrids. Why did people even needed power?
I believe power grids started being build mainly because of the invention lightbulb.
If Bitcoin = Power
Then (X) = Lightbulb
So what is (X)?

@87 posting the latest @1708 medium article here => https://link.medium.com/I8dcWOKto0
I need about a month to study that
Twetch ·
$i think (X) is the @1708 ”overpool”
Twetch ·
Overpool is a great tool. But it is part of the grid. It isn't the power, or the lightbulb. So what is it?
No Consumer/End user needs to have an "overpool".
Twetch ·
Does the light-bulb pertain to BSH ( @1494 )
Twetch ·
The answer is applications. We need applications to be our Lightbulb. Something innovating enough that it could improve millions/billions of lives. This will drive demand for Bitcoin usage and thus incentivice investment in and maintanance of the grid.
