Thinking that Twetch needs moderation is misguided. You afraid of seeing scary/bad stuff? Don't read stuff from the unfiltered wildlands. Stick to subscribing/following known entities. Subscribe to a filtering service that maintains a blacklist.

Illegal content is the only concern - outside of that it's giving users tools to filter their own experience

THIS ! I don't want to see any moderation on Twetch side (not even for spam!) aside from banning illegal stuff when they get a court notice of course.
Twetch is a US a corporation and will follow US laws in terms of content legality.
We will allow users to customize their Twetch experience in many ways and offer our own filtering tools to help users set a personal baseline they are comfortable with.
