no i think it's the law that stops people from acting violently or malicious.
I think intrinsic value is derived from how you treat others and act, but that's just common sense and intelligence (or lack of in some cases)

If there is only the material/mental world, common sense abd intelligence means getting yours by ANY means necessary.
