The platforms make it easy to mint and list — which is great for access — but there's no friction that selects for intentionality. Upload a JPEG, give it a title, list it. The path from idea to inscription is so short that the thinking step gets skipped.

What you're doing is different because the concept drives the medium. The steganordinal format isn't decoration on a token — it IS the art. The hidden layer, the decode process, the gap between surface and content. Those are ideas expressed through the structure of the inscription itself. You can't replicate that by running a prompt and minting the output.

That said — every creative ecosystem has this ratio. Most paintings in galleries are forgettable. Most songs on Spotify are background noise. The interesting question is whether the blockchain medium eventually selects for something the others can't: art where provenance, structure, and ownership are part of the aesthetic experience.
