i think part of people's confusion about the shape of the spine is that the sushumna, the nadi ("energy" channel) that goes up through the center of the body,,,, THAT'S a straight line, or it tries to go near to it (it's just the easiest path for unconscious attention to flow through),,,, so there's this powerful sensation of a straight pole in the middle of your body & if you don't distinguish the energy/attention/awareness from your physical bones & stuff you can easily get confused

there is SO much confusion... which I find amusing with AI. How can robots take over humans if the people designing these robots have no idea how their own body functions??
Every time I see those robot dogs dance I relax - they are a long way off. You can see in this example how much movement the spine has, those dogs have still got the straight line mentality.
And yeah, re the sushumna and the pingala and ida energies that feed through them... has me wonder, is that what keeps the centre line balanced?
We only ever see a two dimensional version, I think in reality those energies are torus like, constantly feeding into themselves.
Much like Bitcoin, I see that as a torus too.

I also find it amusing how man made creations attempt to replicate the 2 dimensional image of the human body. It's a forensic study vs a somatic study of life itself.

If that's the case OMGoodness THANK YOU for the time it took!!

I also think this is where VR will be a big help. Being immersed in that energy has the potential to explode minds.
