I think this new form of electricity generation is actually leveraging Prof Gerald Pollack’s Fourth Phase of Water findings - in which bulk water forms Exclusion Zone (electrically structured) water - H3O2 - next to lipophilic surfaces. They’re finding the top and bottom ends of this channel produce an electrical gradient, presumably because the top is where the light hits the top of the channels. Radiant energy builds EZ water layers, which is one of the reasons why we feel more energised in daylight, because we are building up charge separation in our cells more quickly with higher amounts of radiant energy.
